Taking place: 11–15 August 2014

Five scholarships are available for the Acting: Deaf Theatre Skills summer school at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
The scholarship will cover £400 of the tuition fee for this one-week course (the full fee is £490).
The course is delivered in partnership with Solar Bear and will be taught by Ramesh Meyyappan who has worked internationally creating original visual theatre to great acclaim.
During the course, deaf students will work with Ramesh to improve their acting technique, storytelling skills and other physical acting skills.
This course will be delivered in British Sign Language and students must be able to communicate at BSL Level 3 to take part.
We hope this scholarship will attract students who are considering applying for the deaf performance degree course which will begin in September 2015.
