Scottish Council on Deafness

As part of the Counselling Awareness Project, funded by The Big Lottery Fund, Counselling Awareness Workshops are being held in the north of Scotland.

These workshops are for Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deafblind people and will look at what counselling is, the reasons someone may want or need counselling, what specialist services exist primarily for deaf and deafblind people, as well as what happens during the counselling process.

BSL Interpreters and Electronic Notetakers will be provided and the workshop is free, there is no need to book, just turn up.  There will also be tea and coffee.
