Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 Changes

Changes to the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000, Part 4 of the Codes of Practice
The Scottish Government has updated Appendices 1 and 6 of Part 4 of the Codes of Practice to take into consideration welfare reform and the move to Universal Credit. The other change gives clear guidance to care home managers on what they can spend any resident’s personal money on; this should only be used for things that will personally benefit the resident and improve their quality of life.
