Writing to us:

  • When you contact us by letter, fax or e-mail, we will reply within 5 working days of the date we receive it
  • If we cannot deal with your letter fully within 5 working days of receiving it, we will tell you why and let you know how long it will be before we can give you a full answer
  • When you contact us by a video letter, we will reply in the same format
  • You can get our email address and fax number in our contact section

When you visit us:

  • When you visit us our staff will always greet you in a friendly and professional way
  • If you have an appointment we will see you on time
  • If you do not have an appointment an available staff member will see you
  • If you ask for your meeting to be private we will use a private meeting room if we can

If we visit you:

  • Whenever we can, we will arrange the date with you before the visit and let you know when we will arrive
  • We will let you know if equipment and communication services for our talk, presentation or meeting need to be arranged
  • We will bring leaflets and other material. Please let us know how many people will be present


When attending our meetings or events:

  • We aim to advertise public meetings and events in advance and as widely as possible
  • We aim to have the meeting or event in an accessible venue where there is adequate lighting and minimal background noise and which is equipped with a working induction loop
  • We aim to provide full communication services as required
  • We aim to have meeting papers sent to participants in advance
  • How you can help us to improve our service
  • We welcome your comments on the service we provide
  • We will use them to help us to improve the service
  • If you think we can do something better, please let us know so that we can put it right
