The RNID website contains factsheets on new DDA legislation, education and employment issues for D/deaf and Hard of Hearing people. They also produce a ‘user-friendly’ catalogue of technology, which can assist communication with D/deaf people.

Lothian Deaf Counselling Service www.lothiandcs.org.uk/
Lothian Deaf Counselling Service provides counselling in British Sign Language (without an interpreter) and English, use of a personal loop system and communication in written English (via laptops). They can also arrange for Guide Communicators to enable travel to and from the counselling sessions for Deafblind clients. All our counsellors have worked extensively with D/deaf people and have in-depth knowledge of D/deaf issues.
