The Management Committee has powers to set up sub-committees to deal with specific areas of concern. 
Current committees include:

	Health & Wellbeing Sub-committee
	Communication and Access Sub-committee
	Mental Health & Deaf People Task Group
	Children and Adolescents Mental Health Services Sub-group

Each sub-committee consists of National Council members, Associate members and co-opted individuals outwith the National Council. One of the duties for all sub-committees is to comment and draft responses to consultation, policy and other documents from the Scottish Executive and statutory authorities.
