Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

We receive lots of questions and requests for statistics (for example, how many deaf children are there in Scotland, how many hard of hearing people, what is the percentage of deaf and hard of hearing people with mental health problems and so on), information about different services (for example, sign language interpreters, notetaking, lipspeaking, loops, DLA, Access to Work, deaf awareness courses and so forth) and addresses of sensory impairment units.
